I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything: The ENK Accessorie Circuit Trade Show

Last week was my first experience attending the New York ENK Accessorie Circuit Tradeshow. The Amy Conway team and I had a great time and happy to report that it was a great success. I was even fortunate enough to battle my Organic Avenue breakfast withdrawal symptoms by discovering,The Squeeze, located inside the Javits Center. A couple ginger shots and a gluten free blueberry muffin is all it took to resist the urge to order in.

Although I was extremely satisfied with the decor and message my team and I created within our booth; it was nice to “look outside the box” and take a peek at the vision of some of the other designers. From chandeliers to over-the-top backdrops, it was clear they put as much thought, time and energy into the design of their booths’ décor as we did. I was particularly inspired with the presentations of Chan Luu. The designer created a remarkable mini store representation while introducing a new line that is designed in collaboration with artisans around the world who “need work, not charity” to build a better life. It’s nice to see another designer with same passion to help others.

As the last day of the show came to an end, I realized that we have only just begun, and I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything…Next stop Vegas…See you there!
